Why are there so much rivalry amongst Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler?

like Ford sucks

or Chevy sucks

or Chrysler, Dodge, sucks.

why can't we join together and hate on foreign brands. Toyota is foreign. even though some of the American cars are made elsewhere, and maybe Toyota has cars made here, American cars are still considered American and Japanese cars will always be Japanese no matter how hard they try to change their image.

I'm tire of all that which car is better. Can't you guys just try your American cars. What does it always have to be some sort of race in your heads. When two muscles pull up to one another on red. Must one try to show up the other? This is a question. I'm just giving more additional details. Also i'm adding my thoughts.

So going back to the point, which is the question. Why?Why are there so much rivalry amongst Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler? Many people base their brand preference on the luck or experience they have had with one brand or another. If you have ever owned a Ford,Chevy or Chrysler product and had bad luck with it tends to sour your attitude toward that particular brand of vehicle. I'm have worked in Chrysler and Ford dealerships and hear that from customers all the time 'Oh I had a Dodge or Ford once and it was nothing but trouble' and they base their whole perception of the line based on one vehicle that they owned.I guess it's natural but I think all 3 American car lines make good products. I personally prefer Chrysler myself but then I have spent most of my career working on them. Oh and for my two cents worth the fastest car I ever owned was a 1970 Plymouth Baracuda, that thing rocked. Why are there so much rivalry amongst Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler?because chevy rocks and no other company can admit it.....rofl roflWhy are there so much rivalry amongst Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler?they have along history of rivalry goin back to the hot rod days

every time one came out with a new technology or engine they had to match them in either HP or marketing or what ever

and for the record most foreign cars are made in the united states, and there parts are aswell

and most american companies have ties with the foreign cars

mainly because they compete for the same market

that and the reason why you see a mustang and a comaro pull up to a light it goes back to genes and whos got the biggest engine on the block

its in our nature to competeWhy are there so much rivalry amongst Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler?Rivalry and racing is fun.

Without rivalry, companies will not try hard in making cars better and cars will not be as good as they are now.
