Your last mechanic was HORRIBLE! You hire me to change your tires for you because you refuse to let your last mechanic ever touch your car again. While you are waiting, I decide to remove your engine and replace it with one that doesnt run as good- it ran like crap in all the other cars I tried it in first. Then I decide to change your battery and alternator, even though there was nothing wrong with the ones that were in it.
I give you the bill and you are very angry because I did things to your car WAY beyond what you brought it in for, and then you realize I never even changed the tires- which is what you expected me to do. On top of that, you waited 4 days to get the car thinking it would only take an hour or so.
After you had time to cool off, you start thinking: %26quot;Well, maybe everything he did made my car better! Maybe I didnt even NEED new tires?
You jump in the car and on the way home all your tires go flat, then the engine dies like it did in every other car it was in before. You call me up asking if I can help you, but I tell you that %26quot;I already have your money and I dont really care if you are happy with my work.%26quot; Then I tell you that %26quot;you should be happy because NOW you have a brand new alternator and battery. Quit complaining!%26quot;
Then you find out that every mechanic you call refuses to work on your car because you should have paid attention to all the news lately about how bad my service is- and how, after I get my hands on your car- it cant be repaired at all.
Would I still be your mechanic? Would you hire me again? You would probably feel like you had no choice after being rejected by every other mechanic, so you would continue to deal with me even though I would make you pay up front, and never get your car fixed right.
This is what you have to look forward to IF government health care doesnt work out like they are telling you it will.
